This project was started so I could participate in a Stratford themed art show for my home town.  It was the middle of winter, and nothing was green or beautiful.  I didn't want to show that so I decided to do something downtown, where greenery is nearly none-existent.  I had the idea of flooding downtown with a new Photoshop plugin I had purchased called "Flood" by "FlamingPear".  Basically it creates water to reflect image elements that looks pretty realistic.

The plugin is difficult to use and only really reflects basic straight lines, so getting the different reflections throughout this image took about 15 different renders and lots of blending.  I kept adding details and spent around 30 hours creating this start to finish.

In the water are different local landmarks floating around, some slightly submerged.  I used the smudge tool to ripple the details to make it look like the waves distorted them, since they weren't actually under water.

Similar to my last upload, I decided to make this image about swans.  They turn this image from being apocalyptical to being a little romantic, and add a bit of a story to it.
